Lego Ninjago 2018 Sets – Lego Ninjago Ninja Nightcrawler (70641)

If you have not already checked out, there were many Lego Ninjago sets released this year that were packed with some fun-filled actions to play with. One of the Lego Ninjago 2018 Sets has become our favorite which is the Lego Ninjago Ninja Nightcrawler. There are some cool actions we can do with this set of Ninjago, the Masters of Spinjitzu range 😉

Come and join me here to check it out …

The front of the box shows Lloyd, Nya and Ultra Violet in action. Lloyd’s Ninja Nightcrawler in high speed action hitting one of the traffic cone. Ultra Violet is riding high on her Stone Booster Bike while Nya is running in action.

The back of the box shows more Ninjago actions and the various mode of actions we can play with Lloyd’s Ninja Nightcrawler.

And here is the view of the other sides of the boxes.

The box came with two instruction booklets to assemble the models.

Here are the backs of the two instruction booklets.

The numbers and types of bricks are provided as shown in the instruction booklet.

The box contains five packs of Lego bricks. First pack contains bricks to build up Ultra Violet, Ultra Violet’s Stone Booster Bike and first part of Lloyd’s Ninja Nightcrawler. Second pack includes bricks to complete the second part of the Ninja Nightcrawler. The third pack contains parts to build up Nya and complete the third part of the Nightcrawler.

The fourth pack contains parts to complete Lloyd with the Nightcrawler almost complete. Finally, the Nightcrawler is complete with the fifth pack.

Inside the instruction booklet, there is a display of six super cool Lego Ninjago Sets for the 2018 release.

Here is an up close view of how the completed set of Lego Ninjago Ninja Nightcrawler looks like in the instruction booklet.

The fun part about the Ninja Nightcrawler is that there are twelve light green translucent Lego bullets to shoot at one go while the Nightcrawler is on the move. How cool is that 😉 However, care is to be taken not to hit anyone (although it is very small and light but maybe for safety purposes just in case). There is already a warning sign as can be seen in the instruction booklet below.

More actions can be seen in the instruction booklet.

Now, we have here an assembled Lego Ninjago Ninja Nightcrawler set posing in the same manner as the front box images. Can you spot them all?

Saying “Hello” from our left to right are Nya, Ultra Violet and Lloyd.

Right side view with the rear golden wings flap up.

Left side view with the rear golden wing flaps down.

Aerial view with the rear golden wing flaps up.

The cockpit is opened.

The car meter can be moved front and back. Over here, is the back of the meter.

When we moved the car meter to the back, the meter’s front can be seen. Notice that the front green flaps can be moved to open and expose the “engine” beneath it.

Now, we have Lloyd’s swords kept safe in his Ninja Nightcrawler. Can you find it?

Ready for more actions? Press the “button” here …

And here the bullets casing moves up and ready to shoot one by one as we move along the Nightcrawler. If the Nightcrawler moves fast, the bullets will seem to be shooting all twelve at one time (six from each side of the Nightcrawler).

A closer look at how the mechanism works when the “button” is pressed.

A better picture here without my finger 😉

Open up the “button” flaps to reveal the insides.

Front view with a “sinister” look?

Rear view with “boot” closed.

Rear view with “boot” opened.

Finally, the bottom view in contrast with the top view.

Hope you have enjoyed the details of our Lego Ninjago Ninja Nightcrawler set as much as we do.

  1. This is the perfect gift for my nephew.  He loves to build, and I think he’s a genius.  Looking at all the little pieces in the booklet, this is going to be right up his alley.  He loves figuring things out, without adult help, (he’s 13), and he loves cars, so thank you for presenting this toy on your website.  You’ve saved me a lot of aggravation.  He’s going to love it!

    • Thanks, Babsie. Even as adults, I enjoy them. Will be a lovely Christmas gift 😊

      Cheers, Rac

  2. Wow….thanks for showing all the pictures for this Lego Ninjago 2018 set!   How long did it take for you to assemble it?

Legos are so much fun.  My kids used to collection lego sets.    Unfortunately, I had to disassemble some of them when I moved.   It’s rather difficult putting them back together without a picture of what the main parts are supposed to look like.

It will be fun to see what other set’s you end up adding to your collection.

    • It took us few days, Sondra. We did it in our free time with my son. I have disassembled them already for safekeeping as we now assemble other sets. Just need to keep the booklet and the parts safely in the box and we will be able to put them back together again in no time.

I hope to add more to this site soon 😊 Please do visit us again soon.

      Cheers, Rac
